Youth Programs
WELCOME TO NICKEL PLATE NORDIC CENTRE SKILLS
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM!
Deadline for registration is November 15, 2011 (ages as of Dec. 31/11). Please ensure your children are registered by this date as spots and volunteer coaches are limited. No late registrations will be accepted!
This year we have taken the SDP out of the membership registration form to better process lesson registrations. If your children are taking SDP lessons they must be registered as a member with Nickel Plate Nordic Centre (completion of the membership form should accompany the SDP registration).
Nickel Plate Nordic Cross Country Ski Club has been providing lessons for children for over 10 years. The SDP lesson program is an excellent way to get your children involved in the great sport of cross country skiing. From the Cottontail program starting at the age of 3 to the Teen Junior Racers program, skills, technique and competition are taught at a progressive level. Children will learn both classic and skate skiing at the appropriate lesson levels.
Our SDP coordinator Chris Toneff, over the past several years has provided expertise in coordinating volunteer coaches and schedules.
Skills Development (SDP) commences Saturday January 7th, 2012 and runs consecutively for 8 weeks starting @10:30 am for all levels.
Lesson Dates:
